WHAT IS A WARMER?
The Scentsy candle warmer has no wick, uses no flame, and produces no soot. Instead of a flame, it uses a light bulb to slowly melt scented wax bars to maximize fragrance time. The warmers are made from high-quality porcelain or ceramic and come in a variety of styles and sizes to fit any décor. Sizes include Full-Size, Mid-Size, and Plug-In.

Each warmer is made of high-quality ceramic or porcelain and comes in many styles and designs to fit any décor. Scentsy warmers are designed by Scentsy and manufactured in facilities in China to Scentsy specifications. China is one of the best in the world at ceramic manufacturing.
WHAT IS A SCENTSY BAR AND WHERE IS IT MADE?
Scentsy uses a custom, food-grade paraffin wax blend selected for its superior scent loading capability, melting point and firmness. The Scentsy wickless candle bars are small blocks of scented wax that come in eight break-apart sections. Because of the wax’s superiors sent load capacity, Scentsy Bars can produce some of the most vibrant fragrances possible. All Scentsy wax is manufactured at Scentsy’s headquarters in Meridian, Idaho, USA and in France.
WHAT TEMPERATURE DOES THE WAX MELT AT?
Scentsy Bars in Scentsy warmers melt at 125 degrees Fahrenheit – the temperature of a typical paraffin cosmetic dip.
WHAT MAKES SCENTSY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CANDLES?
The type of wax used allows Scentsy Bars to hold more fragrance oils, resulting in a better fragrance “throw.” The amount of fragrance load for Scentsy wickless candles is 15 - 18% oil compared with 5% for regular “wicked” candles. Additionally, Scentsy Bars are safer than "wicked" candles because no flame is required for the wax to melt or to release the fragrance.
WHAT KIND OF OIL DOES SCENTSY USE IN ITS PRODUCTS?
Scentsy uses both synthetic and naturally derived fragrances oils to achieve the highest quality and longest lasting wax bar.
HOW OFTEN DOES SCENTSY COME OUT WITH A NEW CATALOG?
Twice a year—one in the spring (March) and one in the fall (September). Scentsy also comes out with a smaller Holiday catalog in the fall.
DO SCENTSY PRODUCTS CONTAIN PHTHALATES?
No. Scentsy products are made with fragrance oils that do not contain phthalates.
WHY DOESN’T SCENTSY USE SOY OR VEGETABLE-BASED WAX CANDLES?
Scentsy uses a custom, food-grade paraffin wax blend selected for its superior scent loading capability, melting point and firmness. Vegetable-based waxes do not produce a quality candle bar. There are potential health risks from chemicals released while burning petroleum candles. Scientific research suggests there are health risks with burning any type of candle. Scentsy is the wickless, flameless candle company. Scentsy candle warmers do not burn wax so no chemicals or pollutants are released into the air to contaminate lungs, walls or furniture.
WHAT IS A DIRECT SALES OR PARTY PLAN COMPANY?
Direct selling is the person-to-person presentation and sale of products or services. This transaction happens outside of traditional retail locations. Rather than having a physical retail location, Scentsy Independent Consultants sell Scentsy products through home and basket parties, fairs and shows, and over the Internet.
HOW DO I CLEAN THE WAX OUT OF THE SCENTSY WARMER?
When the wax is melted, pour into a disposable container or into its original packaging and wipe the warmer dish with a paper towel or napkin. If the wax is still fragrant and you wish to reuse it, pour the wax into its original packaging and store the used bar in a cool pace. Discard wax if fragrance is depleted.
